Toddlers (18 Months - 3 Years)

Learning:

is done through hands-on fun activities mainly from practical life and sensorial activities. While the child feels like he is playing, he is developing fine and gross motor skills, social skills and is being prepared for later maths and language activities.

Potty training:

is seen as one of the practical life skills that a child develops just like any other, and our toddlers are encouraged to participate as much as possible.

Feeding and eating:

Eating times are treated as social experiences as well as an opportunity to develop new skills. Toddlers that are being bottle fed are fed by a staff member. We encourage our toddlers to feed themselves as soon as possible, e.g. finger foods. Toddlers are also taught table and eating manners as well as independent feeding.
